Fee Structure

  • Our services are offered at a flat rate. There are no additional fuel surcharges or administrative fees

Trash Removal Guidelines

  • Please place trash out the night before your scheduled pick up with the handle facing the house and the front of the container facing the street. This makes sure the container is not squeezed too tightly and that the trash doesn’t get hung in the cart and not empty out properly.
  • All cans must be 3 feet from the street and 3 feet away from any object, including additional trash containers.
  • Your trash container is designed for household garbage in bags. All trash must be placed inside container.

What Not to Put in Your Trash Container

  • By Georgia Law, we are not permitted to accept batteries, tires, oil, liquid paint or combustible materials deemed hazardous like propane tanks or acids.
  • Do NOT place construction and demolition debris, roofing materials plaster, dirt, sand, gravel bricks and drywall. 
  • Do NOT place hot ashes, auto parts, matches of any quantity, bleach/chemicals, or concrete/cement.
  • Do NOT place dead animals, wastes and remains or grass, shrubs or brush.
  • We ask that you please advise us of any broken glass and ensure it is safely contained.

Your container has been assigned to your specific address. If it is lost or stolen, please call 706-337-2603.

Additional Trash Containers

If you need an extra trash container, simply contact our office and we will be provide one for an additional fee.

Please do not tamper with, deface or paint the trash containers. 

All trash containers are property of Mauldin Trash, Inc. and defacing them will result in a replacement fee.

Moving

Your container has been assigned to your specific address. If you are moving within our pick-up area, please provide our office with your new address so as to ensure there is no delay in your service.

If you are moving outside of our pick-up area, please contact us to discontinue your service and schedule your container for pick-up.

Holiday Schedule

Mauldin Trash is closed for the following holidays:

  • New Years Day
  • Memorial Day
  • July 4th
  • Labor Day
  • Thanksgiving Day
  • Christmas Day

During the holidays, you could be picked up a day late, but simply leave the container out and it will be picked up as soon as possible. Please set your container out on your regular day, as we try to get caught up by Friday. If the holiday falls on Friday, call our office for the pickup day. If the holiday falls on the weekend, we will not take a day off. We will run our regular schedule. If you have any questions about our holiday schedule, just give us a call as we always have it on the answering machine.
